Nomacorc Adds Business Development Manager for Australia and South Africa.

Nomacorc, the world’s leading producer of alternative wine closures, has named Mai Nygaard as business development manager covering Australia and South Africa.

In her new position, Nygaard will oversee the development of Nomacorc's business in Australia in close collaboration with Cork Supply Australia, Nomacorc’s distributor in the region. She will also be responsible for Nomacorc’s field management activities and lead technical market support efforts for the company's oxygen management program. In South Africa, Nygaard will manage account and distributor relationships, and will coordinate events and trade shows for both regions.

Nygaard joins Nomacorc from the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) in Adelaide, South Australia, where she served for three years as the Group Manager, Analytical Service. Prior to AWRI, she held several positions at Chr. Hansen A/S and FOSS Analytical in Denmark in sales and marketing, research and development and business development roles.
